Community Guidelines

The handful of principles that keep Dwellroad a place car lovers actually want to be.

01 The spirit of Dwellroad

Dwellroad exists to celebrate the craft of building cars — honestly, in order, over time. These guidelines keep it a place worth coming back to. They apply everywhere on Dwellroad: car pages, logbooks, comments, messages and your profile.

Treat the community the way you’d treat someone in your own garage: with respect, curiosity and a bit of patience.

02 Keep it real

  • Document your own builds, or clearly credit work that isn’t yours.
  • Be honest about parts, costs and results — others rely on your logbook.
  • Don’t impersonate people, shops or brands, or pass off others’ photos as your own.

03 Respect the work & each other

Critique builds, not people. Strong opinions are welcome; harassment, hate speech, slurs and personal attacks are not. There’s room here for a budget daily and a six-figure restoration alike.

  • No bullying, threats, or targeting people over identity or background.
  • Disagree about setups all day — keep it about the cars.

05 No spam or undisclosed ads

  • No spam, mass-posting, engagement farming or fake accounts.
  • Sponsored or affiliate content must be clearly disclosed.
  • No selling counterfeit parts or running scams.

Sharing a shop you genuinely rate is great — just be transparent about any relationship.

06 Reporting & enforcement

If something breaks these guidelines, report it — every report is reviewed. Depending on severity, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts. We aim to be fair and, where possible, give people a chance to put things right.
