New Honda Prelude in NZ: Maturity Trumps Muscle in a Sleek, Hybrid Revival
A couple of days ago, I visited the Honda East Auckland dealership to check out the new Prelude. Unfortunately, it wasn't available for a test drive, but we did manage to take the new CR-V RS for a spin and took the opportunity to film the Prelude.
I really liked the philosophy of minimalism combined with modern technology. The car is clearly aimed at a younger audience who values style and driving pleasure.
Of course, it's hard to judge how it handles and drives without a proper test drive, but the Prelude looks incredibly good in person. I particularly loved the rear end of the car—it sort of reminds me of a Porsche, or is it just me?
Let me know if you've been lucky enough to drive the new Prelude and what your impressions are. Hopefully, we’ll be able to take it out for a full test drive later to experience how it feels for ourselves.
